Digital Marketing Strategist

I don't run marketing.I engineer growth.

I'm Vaibhav Dongare a Digital Marketing Strategist who turns attention into revenue for brands that refuse to stay small.

From a first blog post at 16 to leading marketing for entire companies, I've built it, broken it, and rebuilt it smarter. Now I do it for others.

The Positioning

Most marketers chase likes. I chase leverage.

Anyone can post, boost, and hope. A strategist finds the one move that makes ten others unnecessary — the message that finally lands, the channel that quietly prints leads, the funnel leak that was silently killing the numbers.

That's the difference between doing marketing and thinking like a strategist. I've spent years learning to see the difference — and to build the second kind on purpose.

How I Think

The three lenses I see every business through

Attention

Can we get seen?

Before anyone buys, they have to notice. I find where your customers are already looking — search, social, feeds, inboxes — and make sure your brand shows up there with something worth stopping for.

Trust

Do they believe us?

Attention is cheap. Trust is everything. I build the content, positioning, and proof that turns a stranger's glance into “okay, these people actually know what they're doing.”

Conversion

Will they act?

Traffic that doesn't convert is just an expensive ego boost. I engineer the path from interest to action — so every unit of attention has somewhere profitable to go.

Get all three working together, and marketing stops being a cost. It becomes a machine.

My Story

The short version of a long climb

  1. 1

    It started with one dollar.

I wrote my first blog post at 16, in 10th grade. A few weeks later, I made my first dollar online, and something clicked. The internet didn't care how old I was. It rewarded whoever showed up, learned fast, and kept building. So I kept building.

  2. 2

I went from freelancer to founder.

Tiny gigs became bigger ones. Bigger ones became 100+ brands across the globe. At 19, I turned all of it into my own agency, Vihv Media, with remote teammates serving clients across real estate, education, hospitality, e-commerce, and startups. I scaled it to six-figure monthly revenue.

  3. 3

Then it broke and that taught me more than the wins.

The agency hit the wall: cash flow, systems, timing all the things nobody warns you about at 19. I shut it down. Most people quit after that. I treated it as the most expensive education I'd ever paid for and studied every lesson in it.

  4. 4

    I came back sharper.

I took those scars into bigger arenas, running Meta ad campaigns, leading B2B lead generation across tourism and education, managing campaigns across continents, and building the growth foundation for an entire group of companies.

  5. 5

    And I never stopped writing.

Writing is where this whole thing began. So when ChatGPT arrived, I wrote a book on using it. Then I published one on the Instagram algorithm. Both found readers around the world.

This isn't the finish line. It's the warm-up.

Freelancer. Founder. Author. Strategist. I've seen marketing from every seat at the table which is exactly why I know which one actually drives the car.

What I Believe

A few things I believe about marketing

Vanity metrics are a comfortable place to hide.

Likes and impressions feel good and prove nothing. I care about leads, sales, and returns the numbers that survive a conversation with your accountant.

Strategy beats spend.

A smaller budget with a sharp strategy beats a big budget with none, every single time. I've watched it happen from both sides.

The best marketing looks like generosity.

Teach, help, and be genuinely useful, and selling gets a lot quieter because trust does the heavy lifting.

Fast beats perfect.

Launch, measure, fix, repeat. The strategist who ships and learns will always outrun the one still polishing the plan.

The Writing

I write about what I do

Marketing is where I work, but writing is how I think it through. I've published two books that put my experience into other people's hands.

Beyond the Strategy

The human behind the marketing

I've worked with people and brands around the world, and I'm equal parts marketer and writer. I'm the person who reads the footnotes, tests the “unnecessary” idea, and genuinely gets a kick out of watching a campaign click into place. If you like working with someone who's obsessive about results but easy to talk to — we'll get along.
